A Phenomenal Woman, a Celebration of her Life.
You may encounter many defeats, but you must not be defeated. In fact, it may be necessary to encounter the defeats, so you can know who you are, what you can rise from and how you can still come out of it.
~Dr. Maya Angelou
Thank you for giving us the breath of your wisdom, the hope of your words and the foundation to speak life into our existence. You inspired me to be a poet with an open heart and I thank you for that. God has called you home and we celebrate the gift that is you, phenomenally.
I Love You.
I hope everyone had a wonderful and blessed Thanksgiving filled with love, joy, family and of course, that marvelous Turkey! Thankful and Grateful. I enjoyed my Thanksgiving with family and friends, filled with catching up, memories and love. 🙂
As we enter a new month, I pray we enjoyed this year as we send off 2013, in this beautiful and blessed holiday season.
Welcome December, for you are a month of promise, faith, love and the celebration of the life of Christ! May we bring holiday cheer this season and recognize the true meaning of this month, the birth of one who changed the way we believed…..our savior, Jesus.
My faith is stronger through my belief in him. I am thankful to be here another moment. Let peace be our joy and our spirits abounding in love.
May the Lord, be with all of you this season of clarity, joy, hope and patience. December, will be the month of cold weather, snow and the lighting of the Christmas Tree. Excited to see Rockefeller Center, going ice skating, horseback riding in the snow, drinking hot caramel apple cider and curling up with a good book to read near the fireplace!
The spell of pine, the burning of scented candles, the feel of wool and cashmere on my skin, from my sweater and the cold breeze of the snow. Yes, December is here.
Enjoy this month and make a difference worthwhile, I know I will. God Bless!
-xoxo April 😉
Well, Today is my BIRTHDAY!!! I am so blessed, joyous and forever thankful to share another year of life, which is so precious and beautiful. The moments I have with love, family and friends means the world to me. God is truly wonderful and marvelous.
I see life as a gift and wouldn’t change a thing. I have learned a lot in these years and have received the blessings God has placed in my life, as a tremendous lesson to always remain humble, loving and compassionate to those in my life and the calling which I possess.
I have learned about true unconditional love, great courage and serenity in these past two years. I know that it is truth which is guiding me and love which sustains me. Thank you Lord for this beautiful life and those I have met on this journey. I am forever grateful for this marvelous life and many more years to come with grace, patience and love.
-xoxo April 😉
A Message I always keep close in my heart:

“Cultivate the habit of being grateful for every good thing that comes to you, and to give thanks continuously. And because all things have contributed to your advancement, you should include all things in your gratitude.”
― Ralph Waldo Emerson
As I was looking at this photograph, it struck me that in this economy as young entrepreneurs, students, Generation Y and Millennials, that we have become the most vulnerable due to the reality of the environment. Yet we have not forgotten our childlike innocence about making a difference and still seeing the good in people or the change we still wish to see in this world. We are Global Walkers, Seekers of a Better Tomorrow.
Faith in a Cause and Faith in Our Purpose calls us to Make a difference in Humanity! I still Believe.
I thank you God for this most amazing day, for the leaping greenly spirits of trees and for the blue dream of sky and for everything which is natural, which is infinite, which is yes. –E.E. Cummings
This is a post that I recently saw on faith and was inspired by it so much. GOD always remains present and his promises are always TRUE!
I am complete in you, oh Lord, in love, family and purpose. I am a new and brave Soul. Thank you for my humble faith and my spirit made anew. 🙂
I was just thinking that of all the trails in this life there is one that matters most. It is the trail of a true human being. I think you are on this trail and it is good to see. –Kicking Bird, from Dances with Wolves
