Hello, and Welcome to my Website! My name is Dr. April C. Anderson. I would like to share with you that my faith has always been an integral part of my calling into healthcare, education and philanthropy! Since, I was a child I have learned to weather the many storms of life with strength, grace, hope and love from God. I know my journey continues to evolve through life, my family and friends! 🙂

There are many more rainbows than storms ahead, but I will embrace them both through God!

I am a dentist, writer, budding author, and entrepreneur working creatively through Service, Public Health and Leadership in New York City!

I was born and raised in Tampa, Florida and love the ocean. I graduated from the mighty Florida A&M University in Tallahassee, FL in 2003 with a B.S. degree in Chemistry/Molecular Biology and Meharry Medical College in Nashville, TN in 2009 with a D.D.S. degree. I am the CEO and Founder of the Dr. Wilma T. Stone Educational Foundation, Inc. in Plant City, Florida. I formed the foundation in order to motivate children and teens to achieve their dreams through education, literacy and reading. For this reason, our foundation wants students to receive a valuable education to prepare them for their greatest futures. We are in the process of receiving our 501(c)3 non-profit status.

I completed my Master’s Degree in General Public Health (MPH) at Columbia University Medical Center Mailman School of Public Health in New York City in October 2015 and look forward to working in Public Health Administration or Management. Eventually, I would like to oversee health centers, with a focus on public health for the underserved population, especially children and families.

Ever since I was a child, books were always a part of my life and my grandmother instilled my love for reading and writing early on. The foundation is a testament to the legacy and memory of my grandmother Dr. Wilma T. Stone, who was an educator who cared so deeply for the minds of all children and wanted them to express their true creativity and endeavors in life. She has forever left an indelible place in my heart to help others, especially children. I hope to inspire and bring hope to people through my work in public health, education and writing. I believe growth happens when you listen to the unspoken voices.

Through my website, I will share my experiences in Public Health, Philanthropy and Leadership. Presently, in the process of completing the design of our foundation.

I want to share what is important in education, healthcare (through medicine and dentistry) and philanthropy! We can all impact the world for the better through activism and volunteering! God has blessed me tremendously, and all that I am is through my faith in him. Hope you enjoy the journey with me!

“Be a part of something Marvelous.
